EDD Environment: Deployment and performance Improvement

About Client: Two of Kensium BPO clients were dealing with e-Discovery application, LAW. One of the clients is an e-Discovery and ECA (Early Case Assessment) solutions expert while the other is an expert SAAS provider of document review software on cloud.

Challenge: Two clients approached Kensium BPO to review the existing LAW environment of their client and provide necessary recommendations to increase their efficiency and effectiveness.

Solution: In order to execute the deliverables, Kensium BPO had roped in three groups to develop a solution for these two clients. The three groups were Infrastructure Management Group, Application Development Group and Electronic Data Discovery (EDD) Group.

These teams have begun the project in two phases, where the first phase was to understand the existing LAW environment and give recommendations, while the second phase was to deploy the recommendations made to the LAW environment.

The Infrastructure Management group sent a questionnaire to these clients to understand the existing infrastructure and remotely navigated through the LAW environment related to IT. The Application development group which developed products like "LAW-Relativity Bridge applications" recommended Kensium' s LAW script utility to support client’s specific e-Discovery needs.

The EDD group which provides e-Discovery services to clients using LAW coordinated the whole activity and deployed the recommendations. Both clients experienced remarkable improvement in their experience with LAW post deployment of recommendation. In fact, one of them took Kensium to one other e-Discovery client to help them remotely with their Ringtail environment.

Results: This assignment was a classic example of Kensium BPO being an end-to-end global solutions provider of IT and Legal Services. The solution provided to these clients was a combination of Kensium BPO IT prowess, Custom Software Development Skills, Project Management Expertise in LAW PreDiscovery Application. Overall, the entire project resulted in higher customer satisfaction and reduction in cost of doing their business.
